
Robert C. Erickson, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
A graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska, and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Dr. Erickson completed his residency in ophthalmology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. The honor of Chief Resident was accorded him.
Dr. Erickson is actively involved in the Ophthalmology Residents Program at William Beaumont Hospital. He lectures on microsurgical techniques and the principles of optics and refraction. Prior to joining Oakland Ophthalmic Surgery, Dr. Erickson was in private practice in Virginia.
Dr. Erickson has been recognized as one the Top Doctors in the Detroit metropolitan area by “Hour Magazine”.
In addition, Dr. Erickson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Oakland County medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Erickson specializes in cataract, glaucoma and laser surgery, including LASIK.
Dr. Erickson is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mi and TruVista Surgery Center in Troy, MI.
