Dr. Kirby Taylor, MD, MS, is a Cataract, Refractive, and Anterior Segment Surgery Fellow at Oakland Ophthalmic Surgery in Birmingham, Michigan. Originally from Texas, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University, followed by a Master of Science in Business from the Mays Business School. He received his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), and completed his ophthalmology residency and served as Chief Resident at the University of Texas Dell Medical School in Austin. Dr. Taylor has a passion for advanced anterior segment surgery, global ophthalmology, and medical missions. Outside of medicine, he enjoys competitive weightlifting, endurance sports, hiking, and playing guitar. He and his wife, Jacqueline, now call Michigan home.
